GLC Wellness Centers across the United States, implemented safeguards and measures to keep patients and employees safe during this evolving crisis. With the media reports regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19) changing every day, it is understandable for employees, patients, families, and significant others to feel overwhelmed and anxious.
We have been monitoring the global and national health crisis daily and are participating and conferring with the local and state health departments, as well as with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We are also working in collaboration with other health systems throughout the US to help control the spread of COVID-19 and to protect the health of our communities, patients, their loved ones, and our staff. GLC Wellness Center’s Board of Directors holds daily briefing calls with members of our healthcare teams throughout the GLC Wellness Center system focused on our emergency preparedness in response to COVID-19.
Our Centers have implemented screening protocols for employees, contracted vendors, and anyone who enters our locations based on the CDC's recommendations. We are monitoring supplies including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) closely and have protocols in place to protect our staff and patients who may be at risk for COVID-19 while continuing to provide the exceptional care the community has come to expect.
